Join me as I host this fundraising event to celebrate the life of one of Chicago area's most beloved  rock 'n' roll mom's
Marion "Ma" Nugent, the late mother of rock 'n' roll legend and motor city mad man Ted Nugent, and columnist for the Illinois Entertainer.
Come see Dirty Dan Buck and The Boyzz along with Deluxury, as we bring back the glory days of "Ma "Nugent and her passion for celebrating the spirit of rock 'n' roll with her Chicago area friends and favorite bands.

Along with Durty Nellie's and the Illinois Entertainer, I hope to raise enough funds to erect a stone monument to commemorate "Ma" outside Durty Nellie's. The "Rock" will serve as a metaphor for the  music which "Ma" was so driven to support and inspire in those of us who were lucky enough to have been around her and with whom she made friends. She truly was a "Mother to many... and a friend to all" who met her and those who knew her for being the inspiring ultimate rock 'n' roll mom she was to an entire generation of rock 'n' roll fans.

Chicago was lucky to have her around in  the years when rock 'n' roll flourished in our club scene.
This tribute, along with those who are giving their time and talents, is serving to give back a little of what she gave to us....
our undying respect and admiration !
