What's New

Making new magic this year......

I am forever compelled by the spirited magic I find in my hands. A caveman's club hammering, gentleness that I feel has evolved through out the ages to the betterment of mankind. Like nurturing a flowerbed or a fruitful garden, I carry on my musical writings and inspirations.

In these later years I often find myself affected by the greater world around me, and less so with youthful wonderings. This has changed my perspective. I still find my own brand of spirit and desire for youthful proclivities, though in a different manner these days.

True to my own self I plan ahead. Through out the last year I found myself carrying on my compass of life occasionally getting thrown off track by domestic challenges and family tragedies. But I have no fear. I shall plow on regardless and reset my compass. I am fortunate to have many  friends in my life who engage and support  me in my travails.

In the days ahead I will be updating my web site to reflect changes on the  "My sister" page, "What's New",  "Previous concerts" and the Photo gallery pages. The "Ma" Nugent remembered tribute is still an ongoing feat of passion for me and I intend on making it grow even more. The response to the "Ma" tribute is satisfying to see, as many have forgotten her memory, though remember her in spirit. I may do more to make this tribute be known publicly, through press releases and radio talk show appearances.

I hesitate to reveal too many ideas and call them plans, though I still have inclinations that I will do some recording this year and possibly even plan another concert for my sister Linda. Though these ideas are intended to come about, I will feature only those that come to the fore, by posting all new information on the home page of my web site.

One such idea is to finish a song I've had serious writers block with. "Guit-Dawg", a story recalling the guitar Ted Nugent gave me years ago, and how it eventually became my dog "Buddy". I have asked rock 'n' roll heavy hitter and Boyzz front man Dirty Dan Buck to help me finish this song, and I am hopeful that this year I can hook up with Dirt and twogether we can see this song come to life.

I continue to enjoy realigning the home page to reveal what is in my most immediate interests. Thanks  to Appliance Inspector Kern, AKA, Gary, you will notice the "Kinks fave tune of the week has a new feature "player box pop up", allowing you to continue to view my web site while continuing to listen to the featured song. I will be putting up my latest recording of the National Anthem along with some new pix real soon, so stay tuned for all this and more...

In true Kink fashion, I will continue to keep you updated on all things "Kink"   :-) Carry on LOL
