Below is a transcript of the brief speech I read at my mothers funeral on December 26th, 2006

Too Much, Too Little, To Late...

Remember my mother when someone gives you a hug or a warm embrace.

Think of her when you get a greeting card from a friend or a family member. She was always one to remember sending them when they were needed the most.

You can hear her when a concerned family member calls you when you are sick, or, down or, troubled.

You can see her when you see a nicely decorated Christmas tree and a house filled with lights. The aroma of a nice dinner and the sureness of a smile as you walk into the door.

Look for her in your memories bank and you will find her in the fondness section.

Feel the sense of love she left you with... every time you sense it in another.

You will find my mother where ever you find a path of love and kindness,
a grace that lingers.

Sense my mother's presence when ever you see the twinkle of a summer's night star.

As we said to each other every day before hanging up the phone... I love you.

Rest in eternal peace mother

Love

Your son Eric
